Questions

Answered before you have to ask

Direct answers, including the awkward ones. Where a figure has not been published, the answer says so rather than guessing at it.

Pricing

  • How much is the 8-hour Metro Manila package?

It depends on the vehicle. ₱4,500 for any of the six 7-seater cars — the Toyota Innova, Mitsubishi Xpander, Toyota Avanza or Suzuki Ertiga — or ₱8,000 for any of the three vans, which seat 12 or 14. Both figures are for up to 8 hours anywhere inside Metro Manila and already include the professional driver and the gasoline for the day. Toll fees are the one cost paid separately, by the customer. If all you need is one journey from the airport to your hotel, a transfer is cheaper than the package — see the airport questions below.

  • Is the rate fixed?

Yes. Whichever rate applies to your vehicle is agreed before the trip starts and does not change with traffic, with how many stops you make, or with the distance covered inside the metro.

  • Is gasoline included in the rate?

Yes, in both the ₱4,500 car rate and the ₱8,000 van rate. Fuel for the eight hours is part of the price — you are not asked to top up the tank at the end of the day.

  • What happens after 8 hours?

Time beyond 8 hours is charged as overtime. For the vans that is ₱500 an hour. For the 7-seater cars, confirm the overtime rate when you book so there is no discussion at the end of the day.

  • How are trips outside Metro Manila priced?

Out-of-town trips are quoted individually. The quote depends on the destination, the number of days, and the itinerary. Give CrisMay your pickup point, destination, date, time, passenger count and rough plan, and you get a single all-in figure.

The service

  • Is a driver included?

Always. CrisMay is a car-with-driver service — there is no self-drive option. Cris Labastida drives most trips himself, and hands the rest to drivers he vouches for personally.

  • Are toll fees included?

No. Skyway, NLEX, SLEX and all other toll charges are paid by the customer. This is stated up front so the quoted rate stays a real number.

  • Is fuel included?

Yes, for the Metro Manila package. Gasoline sits inside the rate along with the driver's fee.

  • Are parking fees included?

Parking arrangements are confirmed at booking. Ask when you call.

  • Can you act as a tour guide as well as a driver?

Yes. Guests regularly ask Cris where to eat and what to see, and he plans routes around it. Say so when you book if you want the day planned rather than just driven.

Where we drive

  • Which areas do you serve?

Manila, Makati, Quezon City, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Malate and Rizal are the regular service area. Pickup anywhere in Metro Manila can be arranged.

  • Can I travel outside Metro Manila?

Yes, on a quotation basis. Tagaytay, Batangas, Subic, Clark, Laguna and Baguio are all regular runs.

Airport

  • How much is an airport transfer to my hotel?

To a hotel in Makati it is ₱2,500 in a 7-seater car or ₱5,000 in a van. That is a one-way transfer — the driver meets you at the terminal and takes you to your hotel, and that is the whole trip. Transfers to other areas are quoted on the call.

  • Do you provide NAIA pickup?

Yes. Airport transfer is one of the most requested services, across all NAIA terminals. Send your flight number when you book so the arrival can be tracked.

  • What is the difference between a transfer and the 8-hour package?

A transfer is one journey — airport to hotel, and the driver is then finished. The 8-hour package keeps the car and driver with you for the working day at ₱4,500 for a car or ₱8,000 for a van. If you want the driver to wait, or to make stops on the way, book the package rather than the transfer.

  • What if my flight is delayed?

Send the flight number at booking and the pickup is adjusted to the actual landing time. Confirm the waiting-time policy when you book.

Your driver

  • Who is my driver?

Most likely Cris Labastida, who owns and runs CrisMay Transport and has driven professionally in Metro Manila for over twenty years. On busy days he assigns a driver he works with directly — Rafael is named by guests in several Google reviews.

  • Can I check the driver's background?

Yes, and you should. There are 50 Google reviews under the business's real name, a Facebook page, and a 2005 Petron and National Safety Council defensive driving certificate reproduced on the safety page. Licence numbers and government IDs are deliberately not published.

The vehicles

  • What is the passenger capacity?

Six cars seat 7 — the Toyota Innova XE and Innova E, the Mitsubishi Xpander, the Toyota Avanza and the Suzuki Ertiga — and rent at ₱4,500 for 8 hours. Three vans seat 12 or 14 and rent at ₱8,000 for 8 hours. Tell CrisMay your headcount and luggage and the right vehicle is assigned.

  • How much luggage fits?

It depends on the vehicle and how many of the seats you need. Give your bag count when you book and CrisMay will tell you honestly whether it fits.

Payments and receipts

  • What payment methods do you accept?

GCash, Maya, bank transfer and PayPal. Payment is confirmed manually — there is no online checkout on this site.

  • Can you issue a receipt?

Yes. CrisMay issues a receipt for every trip. If you need it for a company expense claim, say so when you book.

Reserving

  • How do I reserve?

Call or WhatsApp +63 976 160 6605 (locally 0976 160 6605). WhatsApp is the main channel — CrisMay takes both messages and calls on it, which matters if you are booking from abroad. Give your date, time, pickup point, destination and passenger count, and you get the rate and the vehicle confirmed in that one exchange. There is no booking form on this site; a message or a call settles it faster.

  • Is a deposit required?

A deposit secures the date. Confirm the amount when you call.

  • Can I reschedule?

Yes, with 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Your deposit transfers to the new date.

Reviews

  • Where can I read the Google reviews?

The Google Business Profile for CrisMay Transport Car for Rent carries 50 reviews at a 4.9 average. Every review quoted on this site links back to that profile so you can read it in full and unedited.
